Debt Crisis & High Inflation
Sharp rise in prices of essential goods due to currency devaluation and import costs, impacting purchasing power.
High external debt burden, with large loans owed to international creditors, limiting funds for essential needs.
I will fight for a NEW MODEL for the System Change in Parliament
Sāma Rājya Governance Model:
Overarching peaceful governance system inspired by Universal principles, the Buddha Dhamma and collective decision-making.
Focus on decentralization and grassroots empowerment.
Power to Recall:
People at the village level and the local and national government levels hold the right to recall elected officials if they fail to serve the community effectively.
Recalling officials is a key accountability mechanism ensuring representatives remain responsive and accountable to their constituencies.
Grama Rājya (Village Governance):
Local-level governance structure under the Sāma Rājya model.
Empower villages (Grama) with significant autonomy in decision-making based on local knowledge.
Villages form the foundational governance units, enabling localized solutions and governance directly by the people.
Collective Decision-Making:
Power is delegated across regions, starting from the Grama Rājya (villages) up to the national level.
Each region has the authority to manage local projects, policies, and governance without heavy intervention from the Centre.
Focus on Peace and Development:
Sāma Rājya encourages peaceful resolutions, development-driven policies, and sustainable governance.
Empower citizens to take part in the governance and development of their own regions.
Decentralized Power Structure:
Power is delegated across regions, starting from the Grama Rājya (villages) up to the national level.
Each region has the authority to manage local projects, policies, and governance without heavy intervention from the Centre.
